High Calibre Concrete Construction builds concrete driveways across the Gold Coast from our base at Coomera, which means for most of the city we are the local concreter rather than a contractor travelling in. The Gold Coast presents two very different driveway jobs: new builds in the northern growth corridor around Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau, where we work in alongside builders and site schedules, and established homes from Helensvale through to Robina and Mudgeeraba, where an old cracked driveway needs to be removed and replaced without damaging what is around it. We do both weekly. Every driveway is quoted with the specification in writing, poured at the correct thickness on a compacted base with steel reinforcement, and finished in plain, coloured or exposed aggregate concrete to suit your home.

City of Gold Coast controls driveway crossovers and has its own standard drawings and approval process, which we manage as part of the job. Hinterland edge suburbs such as Nerang and Mudgeeraba often involve sloping blocks where falls and drainage need careful design, while low lying areas near the Coomera River call for attention to stormwater.
